Last Sunday, I went to London Fashion Week. Unfortunately my train doesn't start running until 8:25am so I missed breakfast prior, but this was okay because the day was more than I could have hoped for. It was wonderful being at Fashion Scout with The Body Shop and getting to see some truly amazing fashion shows. I'll keep this short and sweet as I did a write up on each individual show over on Hayley's blog London Beauty Queen. I reported from the front row about Kiev Fashion Days, Yong Kyun Shin and Eugene Lin, all sporting amazing designs.

Being backstage at any show at London Fashion Week is fairly manic. Models being made up to perfection, hairdressers trying to find more texture spray and designers putting the last touches on an outfit. It's organised chaos at its best! I was able to snap a few pictures, look on in awe at a few models and even had the opportunity to talk to Lan Nguyen-Grealis who created all the makeup looks.

Between shows, I got to chill at the media hub with the lovely ladies at The Body Shop. There was plenty of Coconut water to quench your thirst, some good tunes playing (courtesy of Naked Audio) and even a very special magic mirror that took your picture when you tweeted @ColourCrushMe and hashtag the main colour you had on. Wonderful technology that had everyone using it smiling!

All in all I had an unbelievable time at LFW and hope to do it all again next year. Have you been to LFW? What shows did you see?

  1. Sounds like you had an amazing time. I'm very jealous of your coconut water drinking, though some just tastes foul. Did you get lots of goodies to take home? I would have taken an empty backpack!

    1. I did end up with a few hefty bags of coconut water, a few eyeshadows and a very nice speaker that I'm still shocked about. Totally loved the experience!

    1. Maybe you could email certain companies? You'd be surprised who they look to with regards to going to shows.
