Viva Capri Blue, £65*
As part of my 'Keep Fit and Try Not to Keel Over' health kick, I signed up for a 10k. Not just any 10k, I'm doing the Mens Health 10k. WHAT. HAVE. I. DONE. If you don't know what it entails, Google it. I promise, it's not going to be pretty at the end of it. In preparation I've been doing the 30 Day Shred and have yet to actually start running. I'm leaving it a little late as the run is at the end of September, but I've got my schedule planned out and I can already run a 5k pretty well.
The lovely people over at Zaggora sent me a beautiful pair of their Viva Capri in blue to try out, which have been greatly aiding my works outs. Firstly, let me just say that I already own a pair of the original Zaggora Hotpants, which are more like shorts and did me well for the past couple of years. Zaggora make workout gear that increases calorie burn, and boy do you feel it! Just like my other pair, I'm sweating in them before I've even started my cardio, a sure sign that these pants aren't all talk and no trousers (did I really just go there?!). If you're not into the science stuff, then all you need to know is they make your body heat up a great deal more than generic work out clothes, resulting in more calories being burnt off meaning a better workout. You need to make sure to hand wash these after use as they get really sweaty, but it means your working your body hard.
The best way to measure the success of your Zaggora bottoms is to take up the 2 Week Challenge. All you have to do is weigh yourself and take some measurements of your hips, thighs and tummy and use them for 30 minutes each day. The genius thing about all the Zaggora products is they work whether you do a dedicated work out plan or just nip to the shops for some milk! The more vigorous the activity, the better the pay off, which is exactly why using these with the 30 Day Shred has been working wonders for my muscles. I've already lost at least an inch just by using them for a week!
I've loved this brand for the longest time and I'm really looking forward to continuing my training after the 10k. Ideally I want to invest in some of the Hot Tops to ensure my whole body is feeling the benefits. I honestly recommend them for anyone looking into buying new clothes for their workouts and have gushed about them to my family for years now. Make sure to really check your size too, as I the S was too big for me and I had to get an XS! They also come in a variety of colours, so there's something for everyone.
Have you tried a Zaggora product before? What did you think?
